Phoenix DS Sensorless AC Vector Drive |
The Phoenix is truly the most rugged, most reliable ac drive on the market today. It was designed to easily handle the tough applications that cause other ac drives to trip or fail. Sensorless AC vector drive technology means higher starting torque, improved speed regulation and better overall performance. You should be using our Phoenix AC drive if you are currently experiencing problems due to high ac line voltages, power line transients, high ambient temperatures and difficult loads including shock loads and impact loads. |
Phoenix ES AC Vector Drive |
For years, our Phoenix Series of AC drives has set the industry standard for product reliability in tough, demanding applications. Now, US Drives, Inc. introduces Phoenix ES, a high performance AC vector drive. Phoenix ES offers improved low speed operation, a wider operating speed range, better speed regulation and true control of AC motor torque. Like other Phoenix AC drives, Phoenix ES stands up to high AC line voltages, nasty AC power line transients, high ambient temperatures and difficult loads including high impact, shock loads. |
AC Line Regenerative Module |
Our AC line Regen module is a unique product that turns any PWM AC drive into a line regenerative AC drive. Regenerative energy from the AC motor is efficiently returned to the AC power line eliminating the need for inefficient braking resistors. Our AC line Regen module is easy to install and simple to use - only five wires to connect and no user adjustments to worry about. |
Regenerative DC Common Bus Supply |
The Regenerative DC Common Bus Supply supplies both motoring and regenerative current to the DC bus of one or more AC drives without the need of rectifier front end in each AC drive. When the overall power requirements of the attached common DC bus drives require motoring power, energy flows from the utility to the common DC bus. When the overall power requirements of the attached common DC bus drives require regenerative power, energy flows from the common DC bus to the utility. |
Single-Phase Phoenix AC Drives 3 HP TO 500 HP |
Many locations only have single-phase power available. Examples of applications at these sites include: agriculture (irrigation, pumping, loaders and other machinery) and oil and gas (pumping, water injection and extraction). Three-phase AC drives have long been used on single– phase power systems but with significant degradation of performance and with a host of reliability problems. |
Phoenix AC Drive with Bypass |
Every Phoenix AC drive can be equipped with a factory installed bypass package. Bypass capability is often specified for fans, pumps and other critical applications that require redundant AC motor control for continuous operation under all conditions. Phoenix bypass packages are factory pre-wired to simplify installation, eliminate field wiring and minimize startup time. |
Phoenix DS Clean Power (18-Pulse) AC Drive |
The Phoenix Clean Power AC drive uses 18-pulse rectification to minimize harmonic distortion on the ac power line. It meets the stringent requirements of IEEE 519 1992 without the use of any additional harmonic filters, ac line reactors or drive isolation transformers. Our Phoenix Clean Power AC drive includes all the same features that make our Phoenix AC drive truly outstanding. |
Phoenix Regenerative AC Drive 25 HP to 1000 HP |
The Phoenix Regenerative AC drive is the perfect choice for those applications that require both motoring torque and braking torque (regeneration). Typical applications that require regeneration include:
* High inertia loads that must be stopped or slowed down quickly - saws, fans, flywheels and centrifuges. * Unwind stands of all types - uncoilers, payoffs. * Overhauling loads - hoists, cranes, downhill conveyors and holdback rolls in process line applications. * Machine applications with fast cycle times that require rapid deceleration. |
GX Series Inverters (Engineered Drives) |
The GX Series of Inverters consist of various configurations of a inverter module that can be programmed and connected to form the following: * Regenerative Load Bank System: The regenerative load bank system can be used in many applications such as: Factory testing of engine generators, factory endurance testing of UPS Systems, factory testing of inverters, factory testing of hydro generators, factory testing of wind generators, testing of aircraft, power generators, testing of auxiliary power units and testing of ground power units. * Grid-Tie Inverter: The grid tie inverter is designed to convert a DC power source to Three-phase AC power. * AFE Inverter: The active front end inverter section (AFE) synchronizes and connects to the AC power grid. It is designed to create and maintain the DC bus required by 4-quadrant (regenerative) AC motor inverters (FVD’s) or as a component of the RLBS mentioned above. |
Solar Inverter—PV Inverter—Photovoltaic Inverter |
US Drives, Inc. manufactures core solar inverters. The inverter modules have been developed based on decades of experience in the motion control industry. They use a proven technology platform. Expertise from variable speed AC drives is the basis of the new solar inverter series based on US Drives, Inc. highly successful platform of industrial drives.
The inverters are modular and designed for applications from 100 kW and above. The core inverters are designed to operate with DC string voltages up to 1500 VDC. The 1500 VDC inverter utilizes a novel three-level architecture and offers the best energy harvesting and long term reliability available in the industry.
All our products are designed and manufactured in the USA.
